Mass Effect M-92 Mantis WIP 1-4 by RebelATS Mass Effect M-92 Mantis WIP 1-4 by RebelATS
What began as a Nerf Raider is slowly morphing into the M-92 Mantis sniper rifle from Mass Effect. This was originally a commission for someone in the Mass Effect costuming community I'm in but I love this gun so much that I am making one for myself as well. I'm also working on a third one to sell.

You want to know the best part??? It still fires foam darts! You heard that correctly! A completely modified Nerf gun that can still shoot the darts. I paid special attention to all the moving parts and made sure they would permit the gun to fully function. When I finally finish the paint job, I will take a video of me firing it.

I like using DAS air-drying modeling clay.

Loving this, especially the fact that it still fires! Can't wait to see the finished gun!
